Is there any point in simply disconnecting this sensor and then driving with it like that to see if the symptoms are the same or similar? I know that I accidentally left mine disconnected for a while and it became obvious there was a problem straight away. Soon as i cleaned it and reconnected it the difference was huge.
If you are finding it is slow to pick up then runs OK, it may well just be dirty. I have got my fingers crossed for you on this.That makes sense mate before I commit to the price of a new one I’m picking a know working one up Monday to try, tomorrow I will try to clean my old one tomorrow, thanks gents I will keep you updated on my progress, but let’s not forget I have a fully functioning ACE system))))))

In this particular case the problem being intermittent disconnecting it will no rule out anything also on the default for MAP/IAT open circuit the engine runs like sh*t, without any power, it's not like with the MAF at all
Re the last part of this, I know as I've done it! Accidentally! let's hope the clean and/or the exchange with a known good one will rule it out or rule it in!

Boredom often results in insommnia, also work tires you out. Since retiring I find I need less sleep unless I do a lot of physical work.

First thing I do is make sure there is no clock or watch that I can read easily in the middle of the night, that way I don't look at it when I wake up and go "Oh sh!t is that all the time is?" I just wake up, then try to go back to sleep. If I do need to be up for anything I set an alarm as usual on a clock whose face I cannot see cos it has its back to me.For me it's simpler: i can never sleep... period
