i have an iPad which will not let me download rave. I am about to change the brake accumulator and need to know if it is straight forward or not. I know I need to depressurise system by pressing brake pedal 30 times before I start and it is recommended to bleed system after which is fine as I have just changed out the rear brake pipes which were corroded and need to bleed anyway. Am I missing any important information?

Regards Clive

Depressurise system. With ignition OFF. Press pedal 30 times wait five minutes, press a further 4 times. Unscrew old accumulator. Lube seal with brake fluid screw on new accumulator. No need to bleed system but if you have to for other work do it.

Thank you wammers, just what I needed to know. I, like many, don't post to often on here as lots of info can be found and you just get on with the job, so I will just like to take the time to say 'THANK YOU' to everyone who contributes any information to the site.

Regards Clive

**UPDATE**
All went well, but even though I depressurised as listed I still had a little pressure and a small amount of brake fluid spurt out which I washed down with water afterwards. Took less than ten minutes to complete. Brake light and TC light no longer come on when I brake and pump runs every third or fourth press of the brake pedal instead of every time.
Now on to the next job! Think I have a leak in the front suspension airbag.

Is it the bag or the pipe connection? If it's the bag it's best to do both, another easy job.:)

No need for soapy water, leak found on front air bag. Two new ones ordered! Now just got to find the 'how to' guide.

I bought the RR three years ago and the rear bags had just been done. I followed the 'how to' guide and the fronts are now done.
