Is there a general rule of thumb as to how much play is acceptable in the front drive shaft/diff/transfer box?
I have about 1/8 turn. What has started me off is my local 4x4 guys telling me that I had 1/4 turn of play (it isn't) and selling me 'FUD'...fear, uncertainty and doubt!
