Hi all, here is the dillema: there are 3 types of ABS sensors for '98-'11 Defenders(refering only to front now):
1. SSW100050 for '98 - '05
2. SSW500050 for '05 - '06
3. SSW500090 for '07 on
these are different sensors not superceeded part numbers, type 1 it's findable at decent price, 2 acceptable but 3 is friggin expensive and afaik the only difference is it's wiring.

as the sytem is the same WABCO D for all also the controll DC voltage for stationary test according to nanocom guide is the same 2 - 2.4V for all i suppose theyrs resistance is the same so my question is: can anybody confirm if nr 1 or 2 would work instead of nr 3 or there are differences in theyr shape or between the hubs... any oppinion will be gratefully received

Hello! I see you didn't get any replies on this for a long time. Did you get any answer for your question otherwise? I have the same doubt... Going from bare 45 GBP to extremely high priced GBP 175,00 is weird... There is also part number LR023690, which fits 2007 on, but only to limited VINs... One difference is that SSW500090 comes with the grease and bushing, but of course this can't represent the so much higher price. If you have any information, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!
