Hi folks has anyone replaced the rear ABS sensor and not been able to undo the socket screw that holds the sensor in place?
I've got a new sensor and had no problem getting to the one to replace. But the problem I've got is the socket screw that holds the sensor in place. The screw has probably not been touched since it left the production track. And its 17 years old. There is not much of a hex socket and the Allen key doesn't get much grip. Any suggestions on removing it it is soaked in WD40 but won't budge.

If it's so old then IMO the problem is more likely in the hub if a sensor relared fault code is logged for that one and if you replace the hub it will come with sensor fitted
