Hay all, I have a 94 300tdi es manual. Last week I changed a swivel and both front wheel bearings, before then it every now and then had the ABS Light stay on when driving but normally cured my turning it off and on. But today the light came on while I was driving and now it won't go away :( i know the ABS sensor is on the top swivel pin but I have no idea how it worked (but my mechanic friend put it on for me) so just wondering what I could've done to cause this/ what I can try and do about it. Preferably with minimal help from the garage (save the pennies)
Thanks for the help!

cv has castleated ring around it that sends pulse every time castlation passes sensor end if gap isnt right it interupts signal giving fault signal from ecu gap can vary due to not pushed in far enough and held properly in pin ,swivel brgs not adjusted let housing move ,cv not pulled through enough and shimmed with circlip ,cv where it runs in stub axle worn/damaged,wiring to sensor damaged

i dont know from here whever its tight or loose just giving some ideas,of things that could effect abs after you working on your truck obviously it could just be coincidence

Yeah I understand, it's very hard to diagnose a car over the Internet :L but thanks for all the advise and I'll see what I can do, if not it's going in for a pre MOT with a friend so I'll get him to diagnose. Thanks again James :)
