Can anybody HELP,

I'm going round in circles with my Freelander TD4 2004. I have got a knocking noise at the rear passenger side when when on uneven road/ pot holes was advised it was the shocker or top mount these have been replaced with no success the noise is still there!!

Also I have a ABS fault the car was fitted with the incorrect rear drive shafts causing the CV joints to wear the ABS sensors away, the CV joints and sensors have been replaced but the ABS fault is still showing on the dash HDC, ABS, TC, and hand brake lights are on!!

Please help.

.....you say and handbrake light is on as well as 3 amigos. .....this was both rear sensors on mine......one gone gives you 3 amigos 2 gone I got the brake light too.......

But really your ****ing in the wind without a scanner.....unless they show up faulty on a fluke...

Cheers, it was both sensors that had been worn away by the wrong drive shafts being fitted, I have changed both rear sensors and replaced both rear CV joints.

Should the faults go automatically when the defective parts are replaced?

Andy

Mine did.....maybe you have problems with your front abs sensors?

What drive shafts did you put in previously?

Are you sure you didnt push the sensors in too much.

How much did you pay for your abs sensors?......are they ebay specials?
