Hello gentlemen,
My hippo’s rear passenger left hand side door not open when unlocking the car but when pull the inside door handle lock tab pop up slightly so I can pull it and unlock the door outside doir handle doing nothing because of the pandemic I’m not able to get a new door actuator so I decided to fit aftermarket 5 wire actuator (i will upload a image) so can anybody give me idea how the wiring work (refered the rave and can’t get any idea)there are basically 5 wires come to oem actuator can someone tell me which wire what?

You'll struggle to get that to work, as the door actuator is all part of the latch assembly. The Freelander uses 2 locking motors (normal lock and deadlock), both inside the latch assembly.
I can't see how a universal piston type will operate the locks within the latch, and would be impossible to wire, due to the way the motors are powered.
