Hi all,
Hope everyone is well?
I am trying a bit of a long shot here, but other than trying the clubs I don't know what else to do.
I have found an abandoned series 3 109 that has survived the government ban of vehicles older than 20 years. (Basically any vehicle older that 20 year had to be removed from the road in the beginning of 2009) Well anyway with whats going here with all the expats fleeing the country and abandoning there cars, I believe this landy to be a victim of this.
It is a Brown 109 station wagon with a white safari roof and three quarter roof rack ,It has grey wheels and no second row seats, has a chub box with a radio. It is on a local reg.
G 9 7. The landy is in surprisingly good nick. After contacting/begging the RTA (DVLA) all they would tell me is his first name is john and telephone number (no longer active). The landy has been standing for two years in the same spot with the doors unlocked. The police are aware its abandoned (so the security where it is parked tell me) and are scheduled to moved /destroyed at the end of March. I would hate for such a beautiful beast to be destroyed.
I am hoping that owner is member here or someone might know the landy or the owner. I would love to buy this car as there are very few series remaining out here my email is markwood20@hotmail .com. if anybody could help I would ever so grateful.
