great. does that mean its close to getting a test drive?

Well it's one step closer to it :)
But unfortunately it wont be going on a test drive until it is complete and I can afford to put it on the road.
What with it being stuck out in the back yard now, and I don't fancy taking the back of the garage out any more than I have too.
But at least it'll move under it's own steam now (or when I put it back together) even if it is only in the back yard

Anyway, said props.
Fitted loosely this afternoon and fit perfect.
Ended up buying from kay supplies and components in Cheshire
Couldn't recommend more to be honest, fast turn around and the price was less than I thought it would be.
So if I ever need anymore (likely) I'll be back.

As I said to earlier, I just gave him a flange to flange measurement and he did the rest.
Front - 752mm
Rear - 570mm

Cheers bud :)
Glad you've enjoyed it.

Stop keyboard tappin n get em fitted.

They're fitted :p
Thrown up a slight issue, oil return from alternator into sump is quite close to prop, well not mega close, but not sure how much movement they'll be.
So I either need a smaller connecter (as the one fitted is on the large side) or 'T' it into turbo return, or somewhere else.
Will look at a diagram and decide what the best way is eventually.
Time to save for the next bit :brick:

Cracking project mate, just spent a long time going through each page. Did anything ever come of the council letters?
Also what happened to the red 90 did that not go ahead?

Are they standard uj's or beefed up?

In all honesty I couldn't say, they're not an lr prop to start with though, just correct flange fitted to suit lr pcd.

Cheers and thanks for reading :)
Council came out about 2-3 months later, had a look around and said it doesn't look like you're running a business and that was that.
Still awaiting another visit to be honest as they reported me again the other week (well at least they told me to my face this time)

The red 90 is no more :(
Decided it was just me and my silly ideas, and the reality was that I couldn't afford to do both.
Which is proven by the fact that I can't afford to finish this.
So it got sold of piece by piece, luckily got money back so not overly bothered.
Just time lost in both stripping and selling stuff.
But it's not like I had anything else to do, strangely satisfying though  even if people don't appreciate it.

Well I forgot the other day, but a belated happy new year to everyone who reads this thread :)
Thanks for all the help, support, kind words and the general chitchat through both good and bad times.
Here's to hoping 2015 will be a bit better year and it'll actually hit the road at some point

The good news on a personal level is I have a little bit of work locally working for a friends dad.
Only labouring, and I'm slightly apprehensive about it as I don't know what I'm doing really, which is not a position I like to be in.
But hopefully I get to learn some new stuff in the process.
It's not going to be full time to the end, but it should last a while. I guess the main factor in that is, is how **** or good I am
Was the first day today, and went pretty good in fairness, no stress or being surrounded by nobbers! Happy days :)
