I know, i know........

but when packing front hubs - how much grease do you pack in there - it will take a lot, but presumably too much will leak out.

A smear, A tub? 1/2 a tub? as much as you can?

you dont fill the entire hub 1/2 at the most but generally just ensure bearings are fully packed and are well coated

but i wondered if the actual amount was stated anywhere - the raves and staines just say "pack"

Pack the bearings well and a blob in between. New defenders have about an eggcup total per hub which ain't enough.

Have to say that tool is worth every penny &#55357;&#56838;. Well less than a fiver - actually it cost me £18 because I wanted it next day, but a really good bit of kit. Can pressure pack a wheel bearing in a couple of minutes with little or no wastage.
It is worth it just for the speed, accuracy and cleanliness &#55357;&#56397;&#55357;&#56397;
