don't for get to change all your transmission oils

you should give the radiator a flush and replace with a high grade coolant / antifreeze (winter is coming). dont buy a cheap coolant as this will affect running temp when towing or under load if offroading. there are some extra checks you can do to pre-empt problems like checking for excessive movement of your fan bearings. get underneath check for any rot on chasis then give a good pressure wash underneath, this is one of the best preventative measures for rot!!

have you thought about greasing your shafts, uj's etc..... grease is a landy's best friend if used in the right places.

there are many things you can do but dont rely on your haynes manual!! nothing beats experience!!

good luck and ignore sarchastic idiots

just go through the service section in the haynes. I did EVERYTHING before going to Morocco in October. Its not that difficult. Onop of this i would check or replace your wheel bearings. I think Defender ones should be changed every 40,000 but this isnt in the haynes.

If your crap at searching for stuff, just say so. But i agree with Sean. If i dont have time i will not search for other people and people shouldnt expect it. Yes this forum is here to help and without it i would have been stuck a long time ago... but as with everything in life, you have to help yourself.

*just my opinion
