A quick question about poly bushes on RRC radius arms

So, I want to poly bush my RRC hybrid, I have seen that there are two dimensions listed for the front radius arms , 40mm up to 1986, I have just measured mine and they measured 44mm wide, now I wonder if they are 40mm ones and as the edges are slightly rounded I have measured them wrong? I have no idea what age my RRC chassis is so I have to rely on measuring them, I did just measure the thickness across from the front where the front bush is located, if i was to guess I would say they are 40mm jobbies, but I wondered what the newer larger size was?
Flo-flex poly bushes any good or Britpart ones?

bushes are based on axle age not chassis,after 86 wider bushes were fitted to rrc ,defender didnt get the wider bush till 300 tdi model,the difference ios about 4mm, ive fitted quite a few sets of both bushes ok , had 1 poor bp bush but it was replaced ok, just dont get cotton reel type get the 2 halves

I have no idea what the age of the axles are, that's why I measured the width of the radius arm which was 44mm, I am going to go up to Paddocks tomorrow to buy a complete poly bush set. With a measurement of 44mm, would you go for pre 86 or the slightly wider two part poly bush?
I suppose if they are too wide I could maybe trim them down?

Thank you kind Sir, I did notice that the retaining clip above the callipers was for the ABS system when I changed the swivel seals, but I suppose that's not really a true indication of the age of the chassis, so I thought I would seek wise council first. ABS came out on the RRC in 86?

One more question and then I'm done, Flo-flex or Britpart poly bushes? Surely Britpart can make poly bushes ok? As I heard that the flo-flex orange are a bit hard? Dunno what the truth is though, so many opinions on here.

all i can say is ive fitted a lot of bp yellow bush kits ,all seemed to have done very well except one kit were a bush was like cheese but it was replaced and vehicles still going strong, id still fit a kit
