A question from a newbie..!!

Hello everyone..I've just purchased my first solihull products including a '86 110 with 40,000 miles and a 200 tdi disco. I want to ask if anyone can throw any light on the manifolds that came with the parts I got with the 110..they are v8 exhaust manifolds, stamped with the BL logo, and they have a hot air take off on one of them.... are they mod spec..?

Still undecided as to which engine to put in the 110 as I have both a v8 and full 200tdi set up ermmm...as I have never had a v8 and would love one it seems to be tipping the scales. decisions decisions..

Anyway, thanks and it's a pleasure to be an owner of the most celebrated shape car in the world.

mainfolds sound like they are off a rover v8, pretty much the same engine as a lr v8

Thank you yella fella..That makes sense as the manifolds we're off a friend who runs a p6 owners club over here in chester..yeah one has a riser (@ 11 inches) which is soldered on to the top of the manifold..He claimed that they we're for wading so water didn't go into the engine.
