Well, I thought everything was going too well with the lady.

Turns out that fate has it in for me. Didn't get any photos on site, phone was trapped in landy. But I got my phone back at the recovery station and got some pictures there, and a picture of the site. I'll tell you all what happened in the next post.

And now I guess you're wanting to know what happened. Well I was coming along a road, about 20mph because there were lots of kids about, lots of cars, so didn't fancy going too fast.

Got to a cross roads at the bottom, stopped briefly, looked clear, so went forward, front wheels got onto the next road, and bang, something hit me rear left, the rear wheels swung to the right, and it went onto the drivers side, it kept sliding on its side until it was facing the way it came from, then it hit the kerb and it went onto the roof. This is where it went wrong for me, and the pain came :p

What we determine has happened is theres a bend in the road to the left, where this cars come from, she was speeding up the road came round too fast so I didn't see her and she didn't have time to stop, shes hit and I've spun.

We deduce she was speeding because she was in a Vauxhall Corsa. And to do this damage to a 110, and end up as far from the actual impact point (see attached) to where she ended up (see attached) she'd have to have been going damn fast, especially in a corsa.

Any comments or RIP messages would be greatly appreciated :p

The pictures show the passenger side rear wheel, which is where she hit me, the axle has moved about 6 inches over to the drivers side, the wheel arch is cracked and the wheel is chipped. Theres no other damage on the passengers side, which makes up this she hit me there.

The oil stain next to the single dotted line is where she hit me. The oil stain next to the double dotted line is where she finally stopped. A good 7 or 8 metres away.

As for the OK bit, I've got glass stuck all over, that I'm still finding :p And I was knocked out for a few seconds, but seriously, any more head damage won't really make a difference to my mental state.

Besides, everyone at the scene was calling my action man after crawling out of that, with the biscuits out my cubby box in hand :p

Ps can I have your interior and seats???

I'm thinking of buying it back off the insurance company as scrap and selling bits and bobs off. The seats are ok, interior not so, theres some alpine windows that are fine as well. Theres 4 fine wheels and tyres too, but of course, the one shes hit is bad.

Anything else I can think of thats worth having I'll pass on, ask and I'll answer. Would never be asking much for anything though lol probably give it all away for free after I've covered what it cost me to buy it back as scrap.

Jeez Ash ...

Glad you're 'relatively' OK mate. I'm close enough if you need any help or a spot of-roading to take the mind off it a bit ... ;)

am impressed you had the bottle to admit here that you got well and truly zapped by a corsa, i'm happy to hear that well healthy blah blah

.... what you doing with them alloys ?

Get as much as ya can out of the tw@t that hit you then have the police give him/her a nice dangereous driving ticket

To be honest, not really my style.

At the end of the day, my landy was insured at stealership second hand prices :p which we all know is much more than they're worth. If I get half of what its covered for, I'll be fine to get a new, better one :p

It will be covered by there insurance.

There will be no points on my license.

And thats all I'm fussed about. Fake injuries and malicious prosecution is just not cricket. No matter what they've done

Police are so far finding in my favour. Especially seen as it has been recorded on a bystanders phone of the other party taking full responsibility :p

However, they haven't taken the other parties statement yet seen as how she collapsed with shock and broken arm and head injuries...oops :p

So she could claim that she took responsibility when she was destressed etc. But basically I've been to see her in hospital, shes ok, stable, and be out of there tommorrow.

By the way, all this stuff thats going is on the condition that I get to buy it back from the insurance company.

And unfortunately, alloys and tyres have been taxed by the person that gave me the idea of buying it back off the insurance company. Dashboard and console has also been taxed.
