a few problems..

td5 defender. Brake fluid is leaking from the reservoir. I've nipped it up but dont want to over tighten it. Its still leaking though. Is there a new seal kit that I can get or is it a new whole kit.

secondly and more worrying, the engine is making a horrible knocking. could this be the crankshaft damper or something else? hopefully the video will help identify.

it it clanks at tick over it will be crank damper easy enough to check using a socket and bar on the crank bolt, if its leaking from the pipe fitting pipe needs replacing or a new flare

Yes it clanks when it’s just ticking over. Quite a bit o wobble on the engine too. If you have WhatsApp I can send you the video of the noise..

sounds like crank damper if you rock the crank nut socket will move before outer pulley and belt showing damper between them is knackered
