Of my newly aquired 90

The Mrs hates it says its too agricultural and I should sell it or swap for a Discovery -:eek: :eek: as she like them Better- whats a man to do?? anyone fancy a nice 90 for a discovery- ( she made me type this) :( :(

Ive just taxed the dam thing and aquired a headlining as the old one was a little tatty to say the least -new shocks and 60,000 miles-canvass back is in brilliant condition too - anyway here she is- the 90 not the Mrs :eek:

I will seriously consider a swop for a Discovery similar value ( £2,000)

she has 6 months Tax and 10 months MOT :p

KEEP YER 90 !
 
Got a loverly blue Disco, 2.5TD, removable front seats, no floorpans, no straight panels, but nice centre console with cup holders and dark tinted windows. Plenty of scope to modernise and stamp your mark.

The chassis is rust free as are all the body panels........the floor pans are rust free too but are being removed for Daft's Disco...... Anyone want the electric windows and central locking system that work fine??
 
After owning several series and a 90" Land Rover my dream had always been to own a Discovery, and at last it happened ! I got a Discovery 2 TD5 GLS and what a disapointment ! while I could not fault it ( fantastic motorway cruiser ) and it was very comfortable, it just did not put a smile on my face like a real Landy and nobody waved to me anymore. Upshot was Disco got sold and I bought an ex army 90, its dirty, smelly, slow and uncomfortable but the smile is back on my face, other landy owners wave to me again and I'm as happy as Larry. Keep the 90.

yer mistake wer buyin a td5 , wot you shoulda got wer a disco 1 , me favorite .... they feel more like a landrover to me , i dont like the feel of later ones .... strange that ..
