A fair price ?

Been looking around for a Defender for a while and asked Trewey's advice (ta) on one and decided against it, anyway spotted this one going through with no bids and had a chat with the guy selling it and have to ring him again to arrange a viewing, guy reckons it's all sound, if it's in a reasonable condition do you reckon it's a fair price.

For £2000 it seems reasonable if it's been well looked after, but I'd expect accessories at that price as well.

That one looks almost too good for its age and mileage.
Worth looking at.
Looks like it has been re-sprayed at some point - check for areas of filler, especially on the bulkhead. If the chassis and bulkhead are as good as they look then it might be worth a punt. Even if you end up putting a 200TDi lump in it in a year or two.
