A little video of my a/c pressure reading. The clutch in gauges but as you can see the needle just waves about a bit so do you think the compressor is broken?. The fans don't kick in but then again they would kick in once pressure is up yes?. The a/c was working up until winter just gone when I noticed it was not clearing the screen as fast. So what do you think. A new compressor or something else?. Marty

Get your gas level checked first. If there's no gas then you won't get any pressure.
I don't know if Kwik Fit still do their 'no fix no fee' gassing service.

Most tyres suppliers will re-gas the air con. They pressurise the system then clean out what's in it, then re-gas. If they can't pressurise then they know there's a leak so won't re-gas. Most don't charge if there's a leak or it doesn't work afterwards. It's time of the year when it's popular so the air con re-gasser will be busy.

Thanks guys. I for got to say there is pressure before I start the landy up. The needle sits between the the 2 red lines on the dial.

I'd say that was low on AC refrigerant - first port of call would be a vac and note how much refrigerant was removed and then recharge with correct amount of refrigerant and PAG oil and test again
