97 p38d ENGINE DISABLED Key Fob not working.....

Ive just got into my 97 p38 diesel this morning but i have the engine disabled message on the dash and also i cant resync the key.

When i left the car last night i noticed the remote locking wasnt working but that might be because i had the battery disconnected recently and never got around to resyncing the key, in fact i dont usually lock the car anyway! That said, due to where i was staying, i locked the car with the key only last night.

So, whats the best course of action this morning?

I should add, im using key two but ive just dug key one out and found the little metal terminal on the circuit board is missing, so i cant use that.............

What can I do?

EKA Code?

As above, enter EKA code, when it is accepted you can resync the key. You CANNOT sync the key with the immobiliser active.

The car is now back in business...... Ive never had to the EKA in the seven or so years ive had this car....everyday is a school day as they say....

@jimllshiftit If you want to get your fob fixed contact mrsporty on here, he can refurb your fob he has an ebay listing as well.
