'95 Defender Heater/Blower Motor Replacement Alternative?

Hey Gents....

1st time post here, so I hope I'm in the right spot....... Anyhow, I've recently purchased a 2nd hand '95 Defender which I'm trying to get registered on the road here in Australia. I've removed the Airbox and have found that the motor is absolutely stuffed and requires replacing..... Well, as u can imagine, the OEM factory motors are limited &/or very expensive to buy, so, I'm wondering if there is another motor from another vehicle out there that u can use instead of the factory unit....

You can fit an inline bilge blower like they use in boats. You just need one that has the right inlet/outlet size.

OK..... I couldn't see any dedicated 'Tech' section for Defenders, could u point me in the right direction with a link?
