Hurdersfield!
Good Day To You All,

So the suns shining and my Landy heater blower motor decides to be a silly so and so, working occassionally! So no outside warm air coming in, I know I should just rely on winding down the windows, but I'm thinking ahead and want to add it to my LONG "Landy To Do List" before winter hits!

I've lifted the bonnet and connectors seem secure, the blower motor will fire up with the handle of a screwdriver tap and works when switching blower off a few times, then stops. Screwdriver tap gets it going again. Presume the motor has brushes and they are now worn to limits?

Any one had similar issues and is it just a case of removing motor/fan and replacing? If brushes, are these available and can these be DIY replaced? If new motor, is it easy to do and is there enough space to get motor out without the need to take whole heating box out?

So much time and so little to do, Strike that, reverse it!

Thanks in advance.
