My 3.9 has started to be a pain. When you try and start it, it will fire once or twice than die. If you keep cranking it will occsioanlly fire. If however you force it to start on LPG it runs fine. Has to be said it may just be out of petrol although the guage says not.. assuming it has not run out of petrol would there be any other places to look?

definitely a fuel problem, so fill up first, then work through the system
