got it out with 26 meters of tow rope! we could only check the depth at the edges and it didn't seem much deeper than times before but the middle was at least 2 foot deeper, must have been washed out by flood water at some point

It's a 2 inch lift on 35's, thats about 6ft of water!

But that was an sj so by my calculations that water was 24inches deep!!
To be fair the 90 did get so much water in it he had to hold his breath

Yep it does. But I was also taking the correct precautions, bigsi was also attending so it could have been carried out safely. I said it was a 2 person job incase 1 needed recovery, and it would have required an attached recovery line, that way one you get to an uncomfortable point you can back out easily.
