90 TD5 XS - advice wanted on upgrades

Hi there, had my 2005 90 TD5 XS for 8 months and loving it but hubby wants to get a few engine/tuning mods done. We got her from Nene Overland and she already has an overdrive fitted but would like some advice on what mods to get for more power, torque and fuel economy, someone said just an ECU power upgrade but if anyone could give us some advice it would be much appreciated, cheers

depends if you want performance or towing/low end torque
if its the former then enlarged intercooler,turbo boost pressure controler, larger perfomance exhaust , re-map , and if so replace manifold for a performance 1.
latter option remap will do wonders
