90 petrol to diesel

I've got my eye on a 90 petrol for not a lot of money and a mate has a 200tdi engine from a Discovery going cheap, is it a lot of work to fit one to a petrol.
I'm reasonably handy with spanners.

My brother in law did it although he put a 300 in it. I think it was reasonably straight forward
