So I have ordered my new front seats and matching cubby box,and wanted to tidy the interior up and was thinking of recovering my door cards with some sort of material, has anyone else tried or failed?any advice from material to glue used would be good. And pics would be great before and after if poss
Thanks:

i once bought some vinyl of ebay to do my boat headrests and its the only thing i would consider putting on my doorcards and its easy to fit with glue. Evo stick do some really good glue much better than that spray on crap. Also it dont matter if you rip it as its easy and cheap

When I bought my new seats from Sam's Trim I got some matching material to cover my door-cards as they are a bit tatty and new ones are not cheap. I am told that a special type of hammer is handy for bending the material into the recesses for the handles etc. I am waiting to get my door frame fixed up before re-covering though so keep us updated wont you please.

Replaced the weather seal on the outside, keeps most the rain out the door. Then round all the door edges fitted 3mm closed cell foam, presses up much tighter against the rubber seal, keeping more wind and rain out.

Seems to work nicely. Did the same to the boot door, that was submerged for 20/30 mins not a drop of water came in.

Next thing to replace/work in is the fitting round the actual glass.
