6 year service

Hi my FL2 IS going in to dealers on Monday for its 6 year service.What exactly should actually be done on this service all they have mentioned is oil and filters inc fuel filter.Should anything else be checked over.The motor is on the extended warranty so i want it doing right.TIA

6 years OR X,000 miles? it ought to be in the maintenance documents.

6 years the vehicle is on a 2012 plate with 73k on the clock

6Yrs or 90,000 96,000 miles B Service
Includes brake fluid and flexible brake hoses replacement
Recommended Optional extras: Haldex service.

That links not working for me so a 6 year service for 73k is just oil and filters then yeh ?

looking at my service book the brake fluid should be changed every 3 years regardless of mileage

I would ask for the gear box oil to be change along with the Haldex filter and oil, fuel filter, as you say brake fluid.

Hi Arctic the main reason i,m asking is that the motor is under the extended warranty and i don,t want to cock that up but surely the dealer should tell me exactly whats needed to keep the warranty live.I,m goona ring LR up tomorrow and speak to them about it .I need to be carefull i think

The LR dealer will know what service is due next and service it accordingly.

If you register on TOPIx and enter your VIN you should be able to view the service sheet for your car
