Put my motor in for it's M.O.T. today. My usual garage, during which they discovered a leak from the diesel pump filter, which they renewed. I haven't got any fuel or rainbows on my drive. (Apparently this is only obvious when the car is left on tick over and a small drip appears on the floor beneath ramp). That though isn't the issue. There was an Advisory Info issued stating
'001 Anti-roll bar ball joint dust cover deteriorated, but preventing the ingress of dirt offside front lower [2.4.G.2].
My question is does this issue either require or need an 'Advisory'?
I'm happy to replace both anti-roll bar joints myself, having searched this forum it doesn't appear to be too difficult or costly.
