So my old disco was on her last legs as some people might have known and was looking for a new landy. So bought on Saturday a 50th anniversary disco (pics to follow) been looking on how i can find out what production number it is out of the 50.... any way to do this i rang dingocroft still waiting to hear back from them.

Cheers

oh yeah his name is Dexter :cool::D

Unfortunately fella, you'll find there were far more than 50 made.

Good luck with the number though.

i thought that was the whole point. and thats also what wiki said and other site i double checked? surely you cant call it a 50th anniversary if there were more made. you cant call it the 50 years of land rover but we are going to make more model lol.

that not what '50th anniversary' means. that is simply the trim level they introduced when land rover reached 50 years old

Hope you didnt pay a premium based on it being one of fifty. I see alot of the aniversary fenders around.

50th anniversaries do go for a bit of a premium if in decent nick, partly cause of the spec and partly the hype.

I'd rather have a 50 year old Landy myself

I viewed one when I was searching for my disco and it was rotten a a pear! The owner bought it new and told me that he took it back after 2years because there was so much corrosion. Apparently, according to the owner, land rover treated and resprayed it. Needless to say, I took big steps away from that one!
