hi just intreasted in diesel and veg mix as dont wana ruin my engine, does it actauly work ok ?, does it ruin engine or parts ? do you lose power or torque ? how smelly is it lol ? it would be new good oil not used chipy fat lol and allways 50/50 mixed in warmer weather not winter as i no it cloggs ? thanks

Do a quick search it's all been covered from what mix to the benefits. I use a 60diesl/40 veg mix in the summer with no adverse effects. Then in the winter a 70/20. The only drama with it was when I first used it I had to change the fuel filter at every 2000 mile for a bit but now the system is clean I can do it at the normal 6000mile

50/50 is fine in winter aswell as summer just add a bit of unleaded in winter to thin it a bit more. It only smells like a chippy from behind the motor or when you stop at a junction you get a whiff of it but you don't notice it after a while.

Depends how much you like chips? Does pong though! But only when your right behind said vehicle! gonna start running mine on veg oil as I'll never be behind my own motor! :)

You will need eight 20 gallon drums, a workshop with air tools, a degree in chemistry, a team of 4 qualified first aiders and an african elephant.

Got to be African, the ears on the Indian elephant are way too small for this purpose.

Do we really need another thread on this subject?:( I'm as Interested as anyone in saving money this way but do a search and you can spend the next month reading about it! :search::mad:

If you can't get an African or Indian elephant a Jamaican toss donkey will do.:D
