5-way plastic fuel connector on TD4

Hello All,

Started replacing the fuel lift pump in the engine bay of my TD4 and while somewhat enthusiastically pulling on the bottom fuel hose, broke the blasted thing from the plastic 5-way connector.

Are these things available from the main dealer as one thread suggests that they are only available with all the hoses, etc.?

Is there an alternative to the silly plastic thingamajig, I started thinking about using a handful of brass connectors and extra hose, but can see what looks like a "+" on the right side of the connector and possibly a "-" on the left?

Two year TD4 owner and the hits just keep on coming...

I'm not familiar with the connectors on the Td4,
Go for the fabricated brass version until you source a scrap pump.

yea it comes wih all the pipe work from main dealer think it was abot £200 pond or somethink stupid

Get wun from a scrappy. . . .cos of the way the connector [manifold] is configured yer carn't not use it as it has a bleed off from the bi metalic switch return from yer injectors. . . .
