4lt p38 oil filter housing leaking can it be changed or fixed

i've tried 4 different oil filters on it now and oil is still coming out of the top of the oil filter. what can be done. there cant be 4 dodgey filters.
the mechanic had a look at it but could see no cracks.

There are a couple of P38 oil filter housings and even a top on it's own on Ebay. I spotted them last night and thought, "Who would want one of them?" and just moved on.

its coming out where the filter screws on

Have a good look at where its coming from. I had the same sympton and It does look like the filters leaking but it was the oil pressure switch (common problem) this is above and runs straight down the filter !
