4L V8 with as much grunt as a small hatchback.

Hey there,

My 1999 V8 out of a discovery 2 is getting weaker and weaker by the mile. Just wondering if anybody knows of any common faults with this engine/vehicle??. One thing that I noticed is that the fuel pump is fine till about 2500RPM then its wines like anything LOUD, so possible fuel starvation??
Its done 104,000 miles with some service history and a head change at 68,000 I think without looking.

Wot motor have you put the engine in and have you got the corect preasure pump fitted
