which one you got and why dont you like t?
cant quite put me finger on it, its just not for me... maybe cos it dont feel quite as refined as the 4.6's with it being the diesel? although speed aint an issue it goes like **** off a stick.

they are the same except trim and engine!!!

if you didnt like the drive then you wont like any, if it was the engine then get a v8!

This is going to stir the s**t.......why do people rant & rave about LPG??
Either you can or can't afford the running costs of a 4.6, V8.
We all like to do "Window shopping" and would like a luxurious motor that costs the same to run as a Mini.
I would like a 6.2 litre Roller that does 50mpg but life ain't like that. O.K., I have a 4.6 HSE running on petrol (As intended) which I am over the moon with. When I bought it, I knew it wasn't gong to be frugal on juice and I went into it with my eyes and mind open to that fact that I would be lucky if I got 17mpg around the houses. I did not think "Big motor..how can I get the running costs to equate to 40mpg".
I did not consider Global Warming, I contribute heavily with the taxation raised by using my "Gas guzzler" as the Greenies like to refer.
If a 2.5 diesel is not what you want due to performance, and a 4.6 is outside your budget regarding running costs then I suggest that you look for something like a 1.8 litre Gaylander or similar.

very helpful (NOT) but may i add that its nothing to do with performance!!!! i may have a diesel but its like **** off a stick my mate who has a 4.6 (which he bought off me) cant believe how quick it is and has struggled to keep up with it and before you ask theres nothing wrong with his v8. :p

well i wanted the lpg'd version of a range rover. lpg brings the car into the realms of what is justifiable to use it as a tool rather than an ornament! and its another part of mechanics i had no dealing with until i got it. i would have considered, and did, any lpg car but the range rover stood out (turns out like a bleeding sore thumb) i wouldnt say i was bothered about its petrol consumption but i wouldnt have got it if i had to spend £5 to get to work and £10 if i was late!!

i have fell in love with it and i will have another if/when i can afford one thats in top notch condition or newish but there are ever increasing bills to attend to and the lpg price is a benefit!

i dont drink alchohol so any cash i might spend 'going out' of a saturday evening/sunday dinner is put to better use (maily repairing the range rover)

incidently i have been looking for a small engined car on lpg, there doesnt seem to be much in the 1000 to 1400 cc bracket. the wife uses more fuel than i do cos she's always in fecking 5th gear getting nowhere and thinks shes saving fuel!!

i also hate paying rediculous sums of money to the government, the whole tax system is a rip off, if the roads were in excellent condition and the infrastructure was near perfect then i would be more than happy to pay more, as it stands its not, its just a con to tax people as much as possible!

so, i took the gov't advice and bought a greener car! i'm trying to help save the planet!!!

but mainly i like big cars as hobbies/to enjoy, filling up with lpg makes me smile!!!

is the diesel chipped or summat cos it should not be anywhere near as fast as a v8 rangy.

i spent a while reading up on r/r before i bought this diesel and many folk reckon the diesels were 'under powered' 'slow' etc but this ones quite surprising so i imagine it may have been chipped

I am always trying to tell it as I feel..no cr*p. Sorry you felt my opinion was not music to your ears.
My personal opinon, for what it's worth, is that diesels are for tractors and trucks:ballchain:...whoever heard of a performance diesel, despite all the chipping etc. to try and emulate petrol?

Now come on and have a go!!!!!!!!!:your_wrong:
