P38A 4.6 V8 HSE, Advice on front Ball Joints please.................

Hello, I am looking for some advice on getting the upper and lower balljoints replaced on the front of my 4.6 V8 P38, obviously this involves removing the hub and all the associated bit n bobs. Not a job i would relish doing DIY, so a trip the the garage to get the work done. I am based near Stockport Cheshire so any help in finding a suitable garage would be appreciated and approx cost, I know it won't be cheap!! Cheers Andy

Its not as difficult as landrover make out.there is a mobile on facebook somewhere ,look on marketplace I reckon both sides in a good day if you dont hit too many problems. change halfshaft oil seals and C/v bootsnwhile you have them off.

And fit Lemforder, they are oem ones.

I got an advisory on my MOT, so on my list to do. i'm considering going through the suspension and steering bushes at the same time

Perhaps that is why I had a brand new duff Lemforder track rod
