Drove my RR 130 miles back home with no problems after buying it. Chap I bought it off warned me sometimes when driving on the motorway in rain it gets all four lights come on the suspension switch! Took it for a hand car wash and they jet washed it including under the arches, at this point the four lights all came on. It only took about 10-15 mins and it seemed to have got back to normal. It has sat on my drive for a week and upon starting all four lights are on and it sits on the bump stops where I left it, it does not raise. After five mins of running the engine things start to happen slowly and it seems to get back to one light and work ok. So.............is it a common one? and if so is it water getting onto a sensor somewhere? At this point I will say I also have a leak at the heater.

Both are well covered.Do a site search for o ring replacement guide, and how to check for leaks on the air suspension.sounds as if you have a height sensor with an uninsulated connector,or a dodgy wire as well.
That will keep you busy for a while

Dodgy height sensor letting in water possibly. Check the compressor is working well as in the How To section. Part and remake all the connectors in the EAS box a few times and use contact cleaner if you have it but NOT WD40. You really need to put it on diagnostics and read the faults.

Thank you guys for the help, have searched the forum and found 'how to' change the 'o' rings, that job is now done. Do I take it the height sensor are at the top of the air bags? Also where is the EAS box located?

The sensors are the spindly dog leg things connecting the axles to the body. Nowhere near the airbags really. The EAS pump is inside a black box on the left side under the bonnet (Opposite the battery and fuse box). There is a removeable filter on the front of it you could check is clear but really needs a diagnostic plug in. You can check for leaks by waiting until all the springs are inflated and squirt soapy water on them to check for bubbles. If they are perished where they fold over you may find a leak or two.

It's a big black box marked EAS on the right as you stand looking under the bonnet.
