Trip from my mum's house in Liverpool
- door to door - to my house in surrey

Non-stop at 70 on the motorway with the cruise
control - was 5am start on a Sunday so no
traffic

Not much wind either - but still impressive

Overall average in 10000 miles is 29.4

What is the Brim to Brim calculation?? The OBC is variable to say the least!

I know the MPG of the 4.4 tdv8 is brilliant for such a beast of an engine !

That's why I want one !! Lol

Hardly surprising when they do 70 MPH at 1450 RPM that helps along with an eight speed gearbox.

Haven't quite got my 3.6 up that high - best so far was 35.5 according to the on-board (West Wales back to about Swindon area) before there was a pile-up on a Sunday afternoon and was very slow stop-start. After that my right foot turned to lead and it dropped to about 28 by the time I got back home in Surrey.
