id like to take off my battery and fully charge it, as i know its a bit low on juice,i know you have to wait 2 mins, but am i likely to have any suprises with the alarm? or problems when i come to reconnect it?

You shouldn't have any problems putting the battery back in
Not like the p38 that has problems when the battery is disconnected

You will just need to reset the steering angle sensor once you first start the car after you refit the battery

Start engine and turn steering full lock left and then to full lock right

And the errors on the dash will clear

thats good to know, although to be fair i never had any probs with my p38 and that bettery was on and off like a yoyo
