no in 4wd but very light foot in tourist mode

Thats a good mpg value, Mondo mode gives around 20% more economy,. The query was put forward by Mad Hat Man to Audi 4x4 experts/engineers, they said fuel economy wouldnt really be affected in 2wd............. Shows how wrong they were and how little they know about Freelanders
The guy who holds the UK record for travelling distance on a litre of fuel says he drives as if there is an egg under the accelerator pedal.
The k-series doesnt use fuel when de-accelerating, From memory it starts fueling again when revs drop to 2,600 rpm and 1500rpm. Will check these figures with references
