300tdi shudders when accelerating

Hi all,

I've been running my disco on biodiesel for a few months and over the weekend it started to shudder when I accelerate, but can also hear a squeeling noise from the front of the car, again only when I accelerate...
Was advised to change the fuel filter after using bio diesel, but fail to see what the squeeling noise has to do with that....!!

Anyone got any ideas.......i'm stumped!!!!

The squelaing sounds like a slipping belt.Does the delightful shreek increase with revs or stay constant?

it stays constant when I accelerate, but joins in a nice chorus with the shudder above around 2000rpm....!

and no i'm not a celebrity life coach...but the owners of the 'Back to the Future' film De Lorean whose car we borrowed are...!

yeah, been looking into it and around here, seems like the prop shaft u joints....
