300TDI Idle Adjust at tickover

Howdy,
My 1995 300TDI is a little bit lumpy on idle (warm or cold) and the slightest touch of the accelerator brings the beast into a sweet quiet harmony of diesel chorus.

What is the correct procedure to adjust up the tickover speed by about 200rpm.
