300tdi heater motor controls

My heater motor only runs on level 4 (no air con). before i rip it all out for a look - does anyone know the setup or why it would only run on fast..?
is there a fuse or seperate circuit that controls level 1-3?

or is the switch just goosed?

I suspect it's the switch. I believe these are normally a Rheostat and as they usually work more often on the lower settings, that's where the wear will be.

New switch I think.................................

As above the switch is also the rheostat so time to replace the switch, it's PRC5436 switch-slide heat/fan control 4 position.. in Land Rover speek
