Hi there fellow Discoers!

Got a P reg with 140k on the clock. Been changing oils and filters (engine, fuel and air) on a regular basis and cam belt done recently. Is there any other stuff I should look out for? Will the injectors still be ok at that mileage? It picksup well on the revs but there is a slight hesitation on the overrun.

Any advice gratefully accepted!

you could try introducing yourself in the welcome part of the forum ;), ya may get a few more replys. but with regards the disco the list is never ending wheel bearings, bushes, ball joints, sed filter, etc. and don't forget the main thing RUST!!!!!!
oh and welcome to lz mate

Thanks for the info Short Round!

I have been introduced to the rust problems as in new inner and outer sills last MOT! The boot floor is fine ...... so far! Interested in the sed filter tho.... is that the one on the underside near the back offside?

I'll go and say hello on the welcome forum too.

yeah the sed filter is behind the o/s rear wheel up underneath the boot area, i think its a 11mm spanner to under the filter mate. don't bother trying to undo the plastic drain screw as it will probably just snap. make sure you've got a drain tray handy as most peeps that do it for the first time get covered in sh*ty diesel and cr*p.

Thank you squire! I shall go in prepared!;)

Nice one Dave, I'm going to clean mine this weekend and diesel down the sleaves was something I was not lookiing forward to.

I'm off to find a suitable bag without those holes in the bottom that most supermarket bags have. :)
