Hi,
I have just bought all the gear to upgrade the front end of my 200TDi to 300TDi style.

The only thing I havn't got is the template for cutting out the modified holes to fit the new healamps.

Does anyone have a template they could send me?

Thanks

i recently fitted 300 lights in my 200

i did not cut anything as others have i bent the part that was catching out of the way its only a little bit and wouldnt be noticed.

what i done was drill 3 holes for the ajusters to go through. its a bit tricky to get them spot on but can be done with some carefull mesuring.

what i done first was use nuts on the ajusters one each side of the front panel to hold the ajusters tight i fine a good till you need to ajust them so i welded a nut to the front panel for the ajuster to screw into and put one on the back to lock it off when ajusted. after doing this the lights are very secure.

the grill and trims under the lights do straight in and if you put them in first it helps align the lights. just need to secure the outer corners with a braket or maybe tie wrap.

the indicators clip on the trims at the bottom and held in by springs i just tie wraped these to the front panel that holds them ok but might be a better way to do it.

the headlight bulbs are the same but the side lights differ can cut a join the wires same with the indicators but i did trim my 200 indicator bulb holders down and they fitted ok.

hope this helps
