What the one that will show my truck is slow and under powered and prove Im a liar lol.
I work long hours and havnt had chance to set up the truck yet soon as I do I will take her out on test an video her.:D

You come on here and claim unbelievable results without anything to back up the claims. If anyone who understands engines asks something technical, you never answer their questions. Hence being like a pyramid scheme.

And no, I don't know anything about engines! Nor am I going to show a photo of my engine bay...

Why is it unbelievable you are confused what you mean nobody else has achieved it so it cant be true well thats just ignorant. I havnt personally walked on the moon but apparently its been done. Also Im not going to spend all this time designing something at a considerable cost and then tell everyone in the world how to do it for free am I. I do it for a living and sell stuff not give it away.

I dont mind giving advice if I can help but I sell turbo conversions I dont tell everyone else how to do it or I would never earn any money would I.

Also you are being very contradictive as if I am so full of lies as you say why do you want advice on technical questions from me,,,,,very odd that:rolleyes:

Really you need to read and reread peoples replies, he wasnt asking you questions, he was stating facts.

I was trying to say to him that he actually needs to read and understand peoples comments before replying, as for example he had taken your comment totally out of context.

Yeah, I got you, you were backing me up. I hadn't taken offence!

What I meant was if it turns out that OP was telling the truth, it will be interesting to see how it was done without destroying the engine.

If it turns out he wasn't telling the truth we have saved some people from wasting money on a kit that will most likely destroy the engine.

Either way I dont care, my 90 is going to hopefully last me a very long time, and I dont think "250 bhp" is a good way to make the engine last...

One more post, I dont need to post this but I will take the effort just for you.
Im sure I have read that the std 300 block is only good for 150bhp before serious block flex becomes a major problem, have you any views on this, or have you fixed that as well and did you use 6 or 8mm studding!

Just read this sorry didnt reply until now Interesting about the block I will check up on that havnt had any issues though the motor itself is standard apart from my kit and setting up obviously but not had any probs yet and it runs cool to be honest thanks for the info Ill read up later..:high5:

it doesnt matter how cleverly you throw in enough air and fuel to create large hps ,a std engine will only take so much, the more you put on the shorter engine life will be

I agree to an extent.A standard engine will as you say only take so much before something breaks but as of yet nothings gone wrong. I use my landy for work and have probably been ambitious so far its exciting when you have more power each time and no failures. I will be building a modded engine later on to put in the p38 and see when it pops lol to see where the weak points are.

Do you know of anyone whos tested one to destruction I would be keen to see what power they got before destruction so I can have a ref point.Cheers gaz

But just because one engine blows a head gasket doesn't mean the next will not snap a con rod or destroy the crank bearings. You have to destroy a lot of engines to know that you have found the weak point. Believe me I've worked in R&D and have had 4 or 5 failures of different things on the same product. If you look at the established engine builders you will see what upgrades they do which do not include engine mods so that should give you an idea of how far you can go without mods.

Remember with a 300TDi we have an engine that can easily do 300000+ miles. If you modify an engine to product 100% more power it might knock 75% off the possible milage which would mean an engine currently on 100000 might only get to 150000 (100000+(300000-100000)*(1.00-0.75)). Now that might be acceptable to you but it might not be acceptable to me or a customer.

What happens it you are knocking 95% off the possible mileage?? A 100000 mile engine might only go another 10000 before breaking! Testing for 5000-20000 miles isn't really adequate in my opinion.

I'm not slagging your work off nor am I taking the ****. I have an engineering background and would worry about the longevity of an engine boosted in power using just a turbo alone by such a large amount. I spent a lot of time messing with turbo engines in the 90s and the type of boost you are talking about was only reasonably viable with a further reduction in compression which involved taking the engine to pieces. Whilst in pieces stronger con rods, head gasket and new bearings were also usually fitted. A stronger crank shaft was also a distinct possibility as would be upgrading maybe oil/fuel/water pumps and sometimes hoses.

It's an ongoing cycle but YES you can increase power. Sometimes though you can spoil what you have by ruining the whole point of that engine. We want longevity. We want low down torque. We want lazy power without having the screw the nuts of it.

If you had come on here and said that you had produced a replacement exhaust manifold that would take a t2/t25/t3 and had also produced a say.... t25 modified to suit the 300TDi then shown dyno graphs then nobody would be taking the **** they would all be talking about it with you but you have come on here making wild claims without anything to back it up and, well, people are always sceptical. I would suggest that you stick it on a dyno and come back to show people as they might listen to you then.

Hi intersting to say the least got to run over to notts in a mo but will post a reply to you later if thats ok some real interseting stuff there mate nice one,,,,,,,ps manifold is coming shortly probably on my p38 with 300 tdi in I made a conversion block in stainless that does the swap as it was quicker to prove the conversions but my mate makes exhausts for a living so that will come soon if he ever gets time lol :D
