Hi all here's some good news for a change!!

I bought Betty (1990 110 County) last August, having had a nice new paint job and solid in all the right places she just needed a new interior and a more modern engine from the tired TD, so earlier this month a friend of a friend found and installed a 300tdi discovery engine for me, (work of art so she is:)) and whilst this was going on I read all the links on here I could find about this conversion and the DVLA request, I had already called Adrian Flux and they sent me a vehicle modification form for the engine and all the other changes and were very helpful giving me a better price than my previous lot without the mods! So I called the DVLA at Swnsea today and expecting a long list of requirements was amazed when the lass said "no as its like for like be a dear and just put the engine number on the form"
so for all you out there doing the same this should be a lot easier, unless of course when they get my V5 they shred it and deny all knowledge!:D

thats all good no as iam putting a 300tdi in mine, when i get round to it i ending striping all front end now and just repairing bulkhead, and hopefully it back on road and all legal for winter
