Hi folks, just popped across from the Defender section.
I am about to fit an auto conversion to my 300TDi 90 using the Disco 4HP22 and was wondering if the Disco 1 Haynes Manual was a good source of information or whether it just contained a single line stating "the auto gearbox is out of scope for this manual so for all servicing & adjustments see your dealer"????
What I am looking for are general things such as fitting / removal of the autobox, adjustment of kickdown cable, torque figures for the flexplate & TC assembly, fluid capacity, servicing procedures etc etc. Is this sort of thing covered in the manual (in which case I will order one straight away) or is it a bit of a dead loss?
Personally I have always been a big fan of the Haynes but if it doesn't cover what I need then I won't bother.
Thanks.
