I cant get the intercooler to lift out - it feels 'fastened' to the radiator / intercooler housing at the bottom...

Is it?

Hose on the top is off - hose on the bottom isnt cus the screw is in an odd place, I would have thought I could have lifted the intercooler to try and get a better shot at the clip.

deffo feels secure to the bottom though

They can be a git to get out. I normally "modify" the bottom indent into the frame after I have struggled the first time. A little cutting around the bottom hose indent and you can make it more free so it is easy to get in and out for cleaning, etc...

To get mine out, i ended up releasing the surround on that side. Took off the power steering res, the the side wall top bolt. It swings away now just enough to get the intercooler out.

I like the idea of the cut-out :)... I've shoved mine back in now.... oOoo and the bleddy hose has a maaaaaaaaaaaahoooooooosive great split it it!!!.... It's the rubber boot on the bottom of the intercooler that joins on to a longish pipe back to the turbo - I assume that's the pressure side???

Any, way bodged it for now with some 'Harry Black Maskers'....
