300 tdi speedo

Hi all i fitted a defender tranny box to my bobtail as im running 35" tyres and the disco one was just to slow on take off etc. the speedo plug is different on the fender box so didnt know if i could cut of and re connect dico one or if there is a adapter i could fit thanks

You could look at the connection from 200 D1 transducer that was inline with a short length of conventional drive cable.

The later 300 transducer is matched to the transfer box internal drive ratio and the speedo head. So disco transfer box=disco speedometer head, defender transfer box=defender speedometer head.
